smita my frn suggested i read something on JSF as its teh project need...
just started with JSF..googled a bit and found a nice littlle ppt at

that tells about jsf..
it seems JSF is basicallu used to create frontends...maybe like user controls in dotnet...
it has forms...it has events...button behavior etc etc....they gave a biiig comparison with struts....ill have to read up more on struts to really comment on that
